Bike Week 2008 : 14th - 22nd June
Thank you to everyone that came on a bike ride in Bike Week. The reports for the rides are currently being written and will be available for public viewing shortly.
Residential Road 20mph Speed Limit
Pointed article in The Times, dated 16th May 2008, highlights the Government's intention to introduce a 20 mph speed limit on thousands of residential roads in moves designed to cut road deaths by a third over the next decade.
If this speed reduction is achievable then schemes such as St Owen Street contraflow will be easier to implement and make other streets safer to cycle on. You can read the article here.
